Circlip (aka. C-clip, Snap Ring, Rotor Clip) is often used in cameras and lenses, especially for holding pivots and gear in place. Because of the small size, it is often damaged/lost in the repair process.  It is a non-generic part, thus making it very hard to find. Polar Bear Camera have reverse-engineered the parts and has them tailored in the machining centre.
