NIWA precision screwdrivers were prominent in the camera repair industry during the 1970s and 1980s. The original NIWA screwdriver was manufactured in Japan and ended production in the late 1990s. These are the last screwdrivers made in Japan before the brand was sold to Taiwan, and the handles bear the NIWA brand logo and model number.
